The 4 details the form needs
The form on your AI Bot page asks for the details of one MT5 account (not MT4).
| Field | What it is | Example |
|---|---|---|
| MT5 login | Your MT5 account number. Digits only. | 1234567 |
| MT5 password | The master (trading) password of that account. | Not the investor password |
| Broker | The broker that holds the account. Monthly plan: any broker (choose Other broker). | Exness, XM or Vantage |
| MT5 server | The server name, exactly as MT5 shows it. | Exness-MT5Real8 |
Where to find your login and server
- Broker email: your broker usually emails the login, password and server when you open the account.
- MT5 phone app: open your list of accounts. Each shows its login and server.
- MT5 on a computer: open File, then Login to Trade Account.
- Broker website or app: your account list shows the account number, usually with its server.
- Still stuck? Ask your broker's live support.
Trading password, not investor password
- Master (trading) password: can open and close trades. The bot needs this one.
- Investor password: read-only. The bot cannot trade with it, so the setup fails.
Forgot it? Reset the trading password on your broker's website or app. It is not your broker website password, and we never need your email password.
The server must match exactly
- Copy it exactly as MT5 shows it: capital letters, numbers, dashes and spaces.
- Keep the number at the end. Exness-MT5Real8 and Exness-MT5Real are different servers.
- Use the server of the same account as your login.
- Your broker's website address is not the server.
Common mistakes
My status says Needs attention.
Read the note on your AI Bot page, fix the details in the form and press Resubmit details.
I gave the investor password by mistake.
If your status is Needs attention, resubmit with the trading password. If not, tell us on the Support page.
My login has letters in it.
An MT5 login is only numbers. You may have copied your email or website username.
Is it safe to give my password?
It is encrypted, and only the admin running your setup can see it. The bot can trade but cannot withdraw money.
